My journey with ICICI Securities commenced in the year 2007 in Dehradun when I was selected as a Relationship Manager through campus placements. I was thrilled to be part of a brand known for innovation. From day one, the company's nurturing and inclusive culture made me feel like an integral part of the team.

In any journey, challenges are inevitable, and my time at ICICI Securities was no exception. As a newcomer, I faced a steep learning curve and had to adapt to the fast-paced environment. However, these challenges became invaluable learning opportunities. My colleagues and mentors provided unwavering support, enabling me to acquire new skills and knowledge in handling short term and long-term disruptions of business and responsibilities given during each role.

In flat two years I was promoted as a Branch Manager. This was a defining moment in my journey, as it not only recognized my efforts but also presented me with the opportunity to lead and inspire a team of passionate individuals. As a manager, I learned to prioritize team cohesion and foster a positive work environment. I discovered that being a leader was not merely about overseeing tasks but also about understanding each team member's strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations. Empowering them to grow professionally not only boosted their performance but also enhanced overall team productivity. Overtime I was promoted to become Chief Branch Manager and then Cluster Manager followed by Chief Cluster Manager and now Regional Head. Working at different locations has exposed me to different types of market, customer base and helped me enrich my portfolio as well as my experience as an individual.

I honed my leadership skills, learned to embrace challenges, and fostered a growth mind-set that allowed me to embrace change and adapt to new situations effortlessly. ICICI Securities has been nothing short of transformative. From a wide-eyed junior to a seasoned leader, I have evolved both professionally and personally. The opportunities to learn, the challenges to overcome and the camaraderie shared with my colleagues have all play an integral role in shaping the person I am today.

I joined ICICI Securities in 2014 as Chief Manager in Legal Department and have received phenomenal exposure which helped me grow into an experienced professional.

Joining ICICI Securities, has been very fructifying. In this association of 9 years with ICICI Securities I have got multiple opportunities of learning and exploring new areas in the Legal department. The journey from Chief Manager to Assistant Vice President II has been full of challenges, passion and excitement. I got a chance to work with exceptional leaders. Their remarkable leadership has helped overcome difficult situations like finalization of IPO documents/agreements, due diligence at every step, of which I was an integral part of.

Feeling proud to say that I have received several Certificate of Recognitions and expecting many more. I have also participated in carom tournaments and was awarded Runner-up and Winner for several years. ICICI Securities is truly an employee-oriented organization - it encourages employees to explore new areas and it has a great ability to see potential in people and put them in a place where they can develop and succeed. This has helped me learn, grow and contribute towards creating a better tomorrow.

To sum it up, I like what I do and I know how my role and my decisions contributes to what I am doing for the organization. I am proud to be a part of ICICI Securities family and look forward to many more years.

Looking back at the fantastic 11 years that I spent with ICICI Securities Ltd moving up the career trajectory from Management Trainee to Sr. Cluster Manager makes me feel nostalgic!

When I was in college, I always thought of starting my career with an organization where learning is the first priority. I wished to grow with the company and be a part of the organization which understands the importance of supporting and investing in their people. Careful introspection makes me feel that joining ICICI Securities Limited as a fresher via Campus placement has been one of the best decisions of my life.

Of the last 11 years of my journey, FY 2015 had its own set of learnings for me professionally. I was a Branch Manager that year and it was my dream to get all my team members promoted. Through product and processes training which was easily available and extended by the organization, I was able to realize my dreams. My entire team got promoted to next grade at different locations and vertical. After that my next responsibility was to rebuild the team with new Management Trainees. I always found space to nurture talent in a customized manner. This was the year when I learned how to go beyond my comfort zone. It helped me become a stronger and better professional.

ICICI Securities has a great ability to tap the potential in its employees and place them in roles where they can succeed. One of the good things about ICICI Securities is its open and transparent culture. We always work here as a family. Senior management is approachable and receptive to new ideas. During my student phase of life, capital markets had always been an enigmatic world. I was interested to pursue a career in psychology or, writing and was in awe of Bollywood superstars who could play multiple roles and personalities.

My journey of transformation, from a marketing professional to handling multiple key roles, at ICICI Securities has been interesting. Working across diverse verticals like corporate communication, IPO marketing, IPO communication, Marketing and CSR has been an enthralling experience.

All of them had its own learnings and challenges. Deep diving and leveraging insights and working on marketing strategy, across different media, is from where I started my career here.

Classic and contemporary, corporate communication is the corporate window to the stakeholders. Weaving all essentials, to make an informative and interesting article, had been an equally admirable profile.

Augmenting superior value to an investor– I got an exposure to see the business world, through a different lens, that of an investor. This was the world of investment banking and was an incredible experience.

Enabling progressive and healthy emerging ecosystems - Setting up an ecosystem of sustaining development, be it fostering entrepreneurship by incubating start-ups, skill development, Research and Development or making a more inclusive society-– entrusting and enabling me the responsibility towards the company’s CSR commitment is amongst the highest motivation.

Five years ago when I completed engineering in mechanical, I started my industrial life at Chandigarh with a lot of physical work for only eight thousand rupees per month. I worked in different fields but faced challenges with respect to time, money, fame etc.

With the dip in automobile sector, given the lockdown in 2020, I had to quit my job. I was back to my hometown within a month. I realized that this was an opportunity to switch my career from mechanical to intellectual. My parents also were not happy because I had to invest more than 12 hours in a company just for a meagre amount. At that point of time I decided to pursue further studies and also acquire new skills.

Recently, I completed my studies in Management and got an opportunity to work in ICICI Securities. The day I received my offer letter was the happiest one of my life as I felt the inner happiness on my mother's face for the first time. I took education loan twice for engineering and MBA. This is the time when I am getting all the things from my professional life as I never got during 3 years of work experience.
